Score user behavior to increase conversions

A couple of years ago, one of our account development managers wrote this:

Let’s say you own a thingamabob store. Your thingamabobs range in price from $50 to $1000. You also stock some thingamabob accessories, which are as little as 25 cents each.

Two customers walk into your store. One of them is going to buy a $1000 thingamabob. One of them is going to buy a couple of 25 cent thingamabob accessories.

Which customer is more valuable to you? Probably the $1000 purchaser. But how do you know which is which?

The answer: evaluating and scoring purchaser behavior.

Scoring and grading your landing page visitors will help you optimize your media spend, your conversion rate and your lead quality.

Join us on April 23rd at 1pm for a 15-minute webinar packed with information such as:

  • How to grade the engagement level of each respondent segment
  • How to evaluate traffic sources based on the average grade of respondents they deliver
  • How to judge the effectiveness of your post-click experience in terms of increasing conversions based on your most highly graded visitors

Don’t miss out, register today! You will also be entered to win a Starbucks giftcard!

What the heck is the difference between A/B and MVT testing?

This Friday we are launching a new webinar series, The Conversion Coffee Break. Every Friday at 1pm eastern we’ll cover a conversion optimization topic, in 15 minutes or less. It’s a quick way to get up to speed or just brush up. And each week all registrants will be automatically entered to win a Starbucks gift card!

This Friday’s topic is “AB versus MVT testing”. I picked this topic because I know the differences between these two types of tests aren’t always clear, even to some of you landing page veterans. In 15 minutes we’ll speed through the fundamental differences between AB and MVT testing.

It’s this Friday, April 2, 2010 from 1:00-1:15pm ET. Register now, hope to see you there!
