Justin Talerico, CEO

Justin Talerico, CEO, Co-founder, ion interactiveJustin Talerico, CEO, Co-founderAs ion’s chief executive officer, Justin leads the company through the eyes of a marketer. Based at the firm’s Florida office, he has a 20-year track record as a successful digital marketing entrepreneur & user advocate.

Before co-founding ion interactive, Justin was the founder and CEO of ion, an all-digital marketing communications firm for clients such as Samsung, Siemens, and Bliss Spa. Prior to that, he was the creative director for the Fairweather Group, a travel & hospitality conglomerate with Caribbean resorts, a national travel magazine & several travel agencies.

A passionate user advocate in post-click marketing, Justin has written for the American Marketing Association, E-Commerce Times, MarketingProfs, iMediaConnection, .Net Magazine (UK), DM News and others.

Justin has a BS in advertising from the University of Florida and is a professional member of the AIGA as well as the Usability Professionals Association. He sits on the Board of Advisors for Pine Crest School.

Scott Brinker, President & CTO

Scott Brinker, President & CTO, Co-founder, ion interactiveScott Brinker, President & CTO, Co-founderAs ion’s president and chief technology officer, Scott leads the company’s product development and technical operations from the firm’s Boston office. He has over 20 years of experience in developing and marketing commercial online services and software.

Before co-founding ion interactive, Scott was the managing partner of CyberOps, a web technology consultancy for clients such as Fujitsu, CBS Sportsline, and Tribune Interactive. Prior to that, he was the president of Galacticomm, the leading provider of bulletin board system (BBS) software with more than 25,000 customers worldwide, including Boeing, Dell, Citibank, GE, Intel, and Sony. He started his career as a young entrepreneur, creating early social media software and multiplayer games in the 1980’s, while operating the largest pay-for-play, dial-up online service in the southeastern US.

A passionate advocate of post-click marketing, Scott has written articles for Advertising Age,AdweekBtoB MarketingMarketingProfs.com, and DM News. He is a regular contributor toSearch Engine Land and MediaPost and frequently speaks at industry events such as SMX,SESPubcon, and Search Insider Summit. He is co-editor of the Post-Click Marketing Blog and a co-author of the book Honest Seduction: How Post-Click Marketing Turns Landing Pages into Game Changers.

Scott has a BS in Computer Science summa cum laude from Columbia University, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class. He also has an MBA from MIT, where he was a Sloan Fellow. He writes a personal blog on marketing technology, Chief Marketing Technologist.

Anna Talerico, EVP

Anna Talerico, Executive Vice President, Co-founder, ion interactiveAnna Talerico, EVP, Co-founderAs ion’s executive vice president, Anna leads the company’s professional services organization.  She has over 15 years of online marketing experience working with top brands and agencies to optimize their web marketing programs.

Before co-founding ion interactive in 1998, Anna led the business development effort at ion, an all-digital marketing communications firm with clients such as Samsung, Siemens, and Bliss Spa. Prior to ion,  she was the managing editor of Art Experience magazine, responsible for content direction and editorial staff and was a top-producing associate at several top South Florida art galleries.

Anna writes for numerous industry publications and is a frequent speaker on the topic of conversion optimization and post-click marketing. Anna’s passion for creating persuasive, measurable online marketing has its roots in her training at Florida Atlantic University where she earned her BA in Social Psychology.

Eric Amodio, Director of Engineering

Eric Amodio, Director of Engineering, ion interactiveEric Amodio, Director of EngineeringEric leads ion’s engineering team from the company’s Boston office. He brings over 14 years of software development experience to his role.

Eric has a great passion for software development and agile methodologies. He is an ardent advocate for elegant software design and intuitive user experiences. Eric is well-versed in over 10 programming languages and has experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. He takes great pride and pleasure in building great software and mentoring small teams.

Before joining ion interactive, Eric worked as the Principle Software Engineer, Software Architect, and Director of Engineering for three other Massachusetts based companies.

Eric has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. When Eric isn’t writing software or keeping up with the latest software developments, he spends time with his wife running around after their two young children and two big dogs. He also loves traveling, hiking, camping and diving; although such activities have been curbed in the recent post-children years.

Jessica Collier, Director of Optimization Services

Jessica Collier, Director of Optimization Services, ion interactiveJessica Collier, Director of Strategic Services Jessica leads ion’s optimization services team and is responsible for the effective delivery and performance of ion’s professional services. She works closely with ion’s customers, account managers, and production team members to ensure that value is delivered via the LiveBall platform. Having been with ion since the company’s initial movement into landing page solutions, she has been instrumental in the development & delivery of ion’s services and software.

Jessica has a passion for innovative, quantifiable marketing and is dedicated to helping ion’s clients achieve success with their landing page optimization programs. She prides herself on creating close relationships with internal resources across ion’s account services, creative and strategy teams to help drive results for clients, including companies such as Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, American Greetings, DHL Express, Intuit, and Procter & Gamble.

Jessica’s previous agency positions were in social media planning and content development. Jessica graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Organizational Communication, Learning & Design. She balances her life at ion with her home life in Fort Lauderdale with her husband Dave, son David, and two dogs Misty and Clyde.

Mary D’Alatri, Director of Account Services

Mary D’Alatri, Director of Account ServicesMary leads ion’s client services team and is responsible for client strategy and satisfaction.  Mary brings a strong understanding of the online space and the opportunities it brings to marketers.

Prior to joining the ion team, Mary served as the Director of Client Services and Development for an online marketing agency focusing on Search Engine Optimization and Paid Search.  This has given her extensive knowledge of the entire online buying cycle and how to create an impactful integrated marketing plan.

She has been a frequent speaker at leading industry events and has a passion for client education and satisfaction. Her agency success has revolved around building solid client relationships, leading an empowered team, and always striving to surpass expectations.

Mary graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations. Away from ion, Mary enjoys traveling, wine, and discovering new restaurants.

Susan Delz, Director of Account Development

Susan Delz, Director of Account Development, ion interactiveSusan Delz, Director of Account DevelopmentSusan leads ion’s account development team and is responsible for putting together customer development and retention programs. Susan brings over 12 years experience working with clients in the online marketing space.

Before joining ion interactive, Susan maintained a small business consultancy focusing on brand development and digital strategies.  Prior to that, she was the Public Relations and Investor Relations Manager for Swiss venture capital company, CrossBow Ventures.  Susan started her career with Weber-Shandwick in Miami, managing public relations programs for technology companies and financial institutions. She has a long and successful track record helping companies develop and deliver measurable, high-ROI online marketing programs. She speaks regularly at a variety of industry conferences, and has been on the advisory board of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association for several years.

Susan has  B.S. in Public Relations for the University of Florida, is a world-traveler, and an avid Florida football fan.
